As considered diligently dealing with Psychotics and Neurotics, Neuro-Psychological evaluation, Counselling, I.Q test and various other Psychological tests and Therapies both Indoor and Out Patient Department including all age groups and diverse cultures to help streamline the illness and the individual sufferings.Back in 2014, Began my journey of discovering my undeniable passion for `the subject
of the mind: Psychology`. Travelling for academic internship as referred to a private
Psychiatry centre-called Mindcare Neuro-Psychiatry Research Centre run solely by a
psychiatric doctor Mr.Rezaul Hamid, who runs the running if the centre singlehandedly

in his residential area further kindled my inquisitiveness. I was left amazed by the
growing awareness of our field and people addressing the mental health issues with a
different attitude. He walked me through the complete infrastructure which was still in
the phase of developing showing various rooms including cabins, EEG room, Lab. He
was indeed very pleased to meet a Psychologist first in the common town- enquired
about my interest and immediately asked to join as an Intern. He gave me a real
picture of mental disorders especially Schizophrenia that simply included about 2602 in
numbers then in 2013. Thus, going to an remote interior area amidst paddy fields
leading to small centre build among those under-developed surrounding which hence
became my present day shrine and an inseparable part of my Identity, where I first
encountered the texts mentioned in the very human Psyche. The internship went for a
month- unboxing the various layers of human behaviours and illnesses one spectrum to
another, already instilling and kindling my ravening mind to its core, hence the subject
choose me. Graduated with Academic Distinction while pursuing Masters in the subject
of Clinical Psychology from Bangalore University( India).
After completing my studies, destiny played its role and I joined back in the said centre
conducive all my life`s conditions and working and venturing into my subjects further
getting an opportunity from an equally passionate guide and doctor guardian, starting
to understand what lied within a surface of simply stated illness and challenging the laid
down protocol of the subject. From starting with counselling of patients and as i grew
along with experiences, a new chamber and equipments were bought to further
standardized the tests and therapy, branch of Psychology was thus formalized. My main
goal was to aid individual to reach their optimum functionality regarding certain
essential sphere be it common cold of Schizophrenia to Bipolar to Substance use and
abuse disorders, Personality factors, Online gaming disorders, OCD`s, Post partum to
dissociative disorders. But there came a change in 2017, where I shifted back to
Bangalore to further explore another sphere of the subject to work in `Stonehill
International School` dealing with Special Children as Special Educator that me realize
entirely what I excelled at what was i was losing in the process. Hence, I joined back
again. Major impact lied in learning and preventing Suicide by foreseeing the disaster
and help families to understand and indulge in care available. Me and my team indulged
in various Mental Health Awareness program and conferences and participating as a
speaker in Indian Medical Association (Assam) 2017 made a mark in my region
regarding Mental Health. Thus, I yearn to widen my horizon and hope to see a better
future with help in making service of Mental Health accessible to people at a large in my
stigma ridden region fighting all odds and believe in making a difference in one
person`s life at a time.

With the increase of more and more n.o of patients accommodation scattered over
residence went on, and idea of building a self sufficient Psychiatry centre discussion
went for about 6 months times at midnight with Habil Uddin and Daizy ma`am.
Planning and modification lead to set up of a new Hospital with Both Male and Female
wards along with provision of Cabins.
Pharmacy structure too grew with passing time another Pharmacist was recruited and
gradually Direct Purchase and Alliance with Pharmaceutical Company took its course.
My experience of Hospital Management got refined and presently managing 35 number
of staff along with playing an HR role. I also learned managing violent patient and
restraining, learning about various Mental Illness-its cause and affects, dealing with
grief of Attendants, financial management, to conducting various Awareness Program at
different districts, also alliance with different doctors too grew. Thus my identity found
its new wings and became a functional member of MNRC till date.
I wish MNRC all the best for its new venture ahead.

Already working and having the experience of Hospital Management and Pharmacy at Sanjivani Hospital where acquaintance with Dr.Hamid grew. Following some conflict at earlier workplace, i was approached by Dr.Hamid to his new Psychiatry venture at his residence, thus i joined in the tin made structure , in a small room, purchased Medicine in bulk and started selling with also managing hospital.With the increase of more and more n.o of patients accommodation scattered over

The very first witness of the establishment of the Centre `MNRC, Mandia.

Part Time Employee, Mindcare Neuro Psychiatry Research Centre, Mandia

It was the year of 2012, where my destiny carved it`s way and I was introduced to the
centre through Astami and Pallabi, it was the year where the Doctor decided to open
his own private Psychiatry care in his residential zone. And thus arose a need of Medical
seller, and thus another colleague of mine Ranjit Ghosh was thus appointed for the
same and I a Graduate already working in medical sector was assigned to assist the
Doctor in the various chamber outside the town. Then, back in 2015 I was appointed as
a regular employee. And doctor assimilated the patients in his courtyard of residence as
supported by his spouse Ms. Daizy, his other well wisher Habil Uddin Ahmed and thus

the centre was established and grew the increasing need of it and i became an In
house member of the centre.
I too grew as an individual with the centre- I was adding new dimensions to my
identity, people came to know me, I grew personally confident person and got an zeal
and courage to handle every critical situations with ease be it handling patients with
violence to sympathizing with their attendants, from learning to handle software with
sync of patients details. As I came from not so well to do family but I always tried to
remain updated with the ever flourishing world, keen at sports, but here I began to
socialize more and thus now could financially support both self and a little to my family.
But in 2017, I choose to opt for Government job of a Teacher and hence had to shift to
other town but carried the institution of MNRC within and had a thought of extension
of the centre at the place I was working at. Hence, i got transferred and again
approached back by the centre regarding my contribution to its development and i
instantly accepted the proposal and felt grateful for the opportunity to invest as a part
time employee till date.

 As there`s a saying, ` Necessity is the mother of invention`, thus I was crafted in the same centre where first need arise of a Male personal to manage the Doc`s OPD at the districts

This being a specialized
institution the scope of Pathology favours down to a great extent, the staff have been
kind specially the laboratory staff have been very efficient and professional in approach
growing in every sphere to helping identify early identification of underlying causes of
illness or its other contributing factors.
Continuation towards MNRC is to see that the reports to be delivered in time and
correctly streamlining the laboratory to its present status is perhaps the biggest
difference we Bidyut and myself could make towards its development. There is further
scope for improvement in the system with regard to activities.

Experience with MNRC has been good, cases have been very varied after all these years at times starting from a small centre to catering to varied number of patients from very different part of the state.This being a specialized
institution the scope of Pathology favours down to a great extent, the staff have been
kind specially the laboratory staff have been very efficient and professional in approach
growing in every sphere to helping identify early identification of underlying causes of
illness or its other contributing factors.

Mindcare Neuro Psychiatry Research Centre, Mandia is a ‘one stop centre’ for mental health with all the mental healthcare facilities under one roof. It was established in the year 2012 at Mandia, Assam, India by Dr Rezaul Hamid, Consultant Psychiatrist. It is equipped with 10 inpatient bed capacity with round the clock psychiatry emergency services under senior psychiatrists and psychologists and other staffs of allied departments. As per WHO, 1 in every 4 people falls victim to a serious mental health condition in life time. Here in India the treatment gap for mental disorders ranges between 70% to 90%. In India the poor condition of mental healthcare is reflected by the scenario of 0.3 number of Psychiatrist per 100,000 populations.
